1st Datchet (Ditton Park) Sea Scouts

Cub Scout Section

The Cub Pack is made up of Boys and Girls between the ages of 8 10, meeting in the Scout Hut on Wednesdays at 6.45pm to 8.00pm. The Cubs Scouts are split into smaller groups called Sixes and take part in a wide range of interesting and challenging activities. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors.

There are loads of FUN! things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, exploring, computing and collecting, all going towards earning Cub Scout badges. Additionally as a Cub Scout in 1st Datchet Sea Scout Group you will also get the chance to do kayaking and canoeing in the summer.

Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks, farms and even Gilwell Park (the home of UK Scouting). Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack, sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.
